The current church dates back to the early 20th century, between 1901 and 1909, designed by Gerardo Marchioro from Vicenza. It is built on the site of a previous 15th-century church and is located not far from where an even older building, also dedicated to Saint Catherine, Virgin and Mother, once stood.
The year of the first construction is not known; however, we do know for certain that the church and cemetery already existed in 1451, as mentioned in a parish document of the time.
The church has a majestic façade with Gothic spires, plastered and painted, while the interior, with three aisles, is decorated with exquisite frescoes by Guido Pajetta, and other paintings from the 16th and 17th centuries. Notable are the stained glass windows and paintings by D. Menato, which, when illuminated by sunlight, create mystical plays of light within the church.
At the end of 1989, a project was initiated to reconstruct the bell tower adjacent to the church, which was completed in 1991, with an elevation of about 15 meters and the addition of a new fourth bell. The old tower's clocks have been preserved and are still visible at its summit, and a sundial has been added, generously donated by the master artist Zandonà.
