The existence of the Church of St. Anthony the Abbot is documented from 1420, the year in which the Bordoni family, then owners of the Tormine estate, leased to a local resident some goods "in ora ecclesie S. Antonii." Originally a chapel subject to the parish of St. Lawrence in Grezzano di Mozzecane, it was established as a parish between 1530 and 1533.
The current church dates back to the 19th century. The building features a gabled façade facing west and the bell tower attached to the northern side of the presbytery. The floor plan consists of a single rectangular hall, with a deep presbytery having a flat backdrop raised by two steps and articulated on multiple levels. Along the sides of the hall, two semi-chapels host the altar of St. Louis on the left and the altar of the Madonna on the opposite side. The internal façades are marked by pilasters with molded capitals on which the high upper entablature is based; the walls are decorated with friezes, images of saints, and sacred episodes painted by Don Remigio Leardini, the parish priest from 1939 to 1949.
The hall is covered by a semicircular barrel vault decorated with tempera, featuring false molded frames and ornamental elements. The presbytery is surmounted by a barrel vault decorated in the center with a painting depicting the Risen Christ. The roof has two slopes with supporting wooden beams and a covering of terracotta tiles. The flooring of the nave is made of decorated concrete tiles, while the presbytery floor is paved with squares of red Verona marble and pinkish-white limestone, along with slabs of red Verona marble.
