The church, dedicated to Saint Mary Magdalene, already existed in the second half of the 15th century, but became parochial before 1567, when the first list of “foreign vicars” was compiled.
In 1894, the current building was reconstructed in a neo-Gothic style.
An internal restoration of the church was carried out in 1929. In the apse, one can admire the fresco of the “Good Shepherd”; in the choir, a “Madonna with the Child Jesus” and the four evangelists with the Eternal Father stand out; along the walls of the presbytery, four roundels evoke the Eucharistic symbols. On the central ceiling, the “Conversion,” the “Glory” of Magdalene, and a “Magdalene in Marseille” dominate; in the medallions, the faces of Saints Peter, Paul, John the Baptist, and Francis are presented, interspersed with a full-figure angel on each side.
The most recent paintings date back to 1930 and were created by the painter from Soave, Adolfo Mattielli.
