Foresta Demaniale di Giazza

Within the Lessinia Regional Natural Park, it is the result of a reforestation project. It is bordered to the north by the Carega Group, to the west by the pastures of high Lessinia, and to the east by the Chain of the Three Crosses. It covers an area of about 1904 hectares straddling the provinces of Verona (1088 hectares), Trento (428 hectares), and Vicenza (388 hectares).

The territory is crossed by three river valleys: the Val di Revolto, the Val Fraselle, and the Val del Chiampo. The climate of the forest is temperate cold, with rather warm and humid summers. The vegetation is very varied and intricate, and the fauna is particularly represented by birds, amphibians, reptiles, and mammals.

Currently, this territory offers a vast network of routes and trails, suitable for lovers of natural excursions.
