I Stefanini

Not only volcanic soils that inject vital sap into the vineyards, but also sacrifices, hard work, passion, and care for every single bunch. It is a philosophy of life that encapsulates the art of creating wine and expresses the essence of the territory.

In the cradle of Soave, since the distant 1800s, more generations of the Tessari family have been producing grapes, enhancing native grape varieties. In more recent times, Valentino, Giuseppe, Valeria, Luisa, and Maria Grazia, five siblings of the Tessari lineage, have followed their calling by believing in the potential of a land where wine production was predominantly family-oriented.

The winery has recent origins: it was founded in 2003 thanks to the insight of Francesco, son of Valentino, who, with a marked inclination for innovation, believed in an ambitious project that looks to the future while respecting the environment. The passion that drives the winery has ancient roots, as does its name: "I Stefanini" comes from an ancestor, Stefano, who was so small that he was affectionately called with a diminutive that over time has qualified the Family and then the new entrepreneurial reality.

In the 18 hectares of vineyard plots on hills and plains, in very varied terroirs, today "I Stefanini" shape the nectar first of all in the vineyard, with meticulous manual selection and low environmental impact methodologies. Once in the winery, the grapes are vinified with the utmost care, respecting tradition, with a single objective: quality.
