Sprea is a small village in Eastern Lessinia, a fraction of Badia Calavena. A place still uncontaminated that offers an abundant variety of medicinal plants.
The path starts from the Garden of Don Zocca, an herbal area of about four thousand square meters created for purely educational purposes, which hosts the cultivation of over 300 different medicinal plants.
The itinerary follows the steps of Don Luigi Zocca, a famous herb-collecting parish priest who gathered the culture of Cimbrian origin together with botanical knowledge for the production of natural remedies and herbal products of Erbecedario.
The path crosses through Sant'Andrea, a fraction of Badia Calavena, famous for the "Fiera dei Bogòni" in the first days of December, a term that comes from Veronese dialect and refers to snails, depicted by a wrought iron sculpture located at the entrance of the village to welcome visitors.
