Legato Casaro
- R_SOAVE
Legato Casaro is a building that dates back to the late Middle Ages, also known as "the house of Don Marino," named after a priest from the twentieth century. The Casari were an important family from Tregnago, especially known from the fifteenth century for their propensity to commission altars for local churches.
The house was donated by Don Francesco Casari, through a testamentary bequest, to the municipality of Tregnago in 1630.
Recently renovated, the Legato Casaro has become the headquarters for several local associations. The surrounding garden has now turned into a playground dedicated to Pope John Paul II.
