Museo Civico Geopaleontologico "Abate Don Giuseppe Dalla Tomba"

The Museum was established from a donation made to the Municipality of San Bonifacio in 1984 of the collection of geopaleontological finds from Don Giuseppe Dalla Tomba, Abbot in Villanova di San Bonifacio from 1939 until 1980, with the stipulation of providing them with an adequate museum display.

The Museum illustrates the geological aspects of the territory of San Bonifacio and, through a rich collection of fossils from many different areas, represents all geological eras in a journey through time that allows one to understand the most important transformations of life forms that have occurred on Earth. Among the displayed fossils are some specimens from the fossil sites of Bolca. Additionally, 78 minerals can be observed.
