Badia Calavena, a small municipality that has received the 2008 Green Flag from Legambiente for its commitment to renewable energy, reaches another milestone with the establishment of the first wind farm in Veneto.
The plant, located at the summit of Monte Pecora (869 m), was inaugurated on September 20, 2008.
The wind turbine is 65 m tall at the hub. With the blade at the peak of its rotation, it reaches a height of 103 m. It has a projected production capacity of 2 million kWh per year, of which 200 thousand are destined for the municipality of Badia.
