Palazzo Nuovo "Palazzo Novo" is a villa built in 1810 as a "pleasure residence," where in the 20th century Cortesia Francesco moved his rural home from the previous Corte Grande.
The palace underwent radical conservative restoration of all its ancient elements around 1996, becoming the residence of the current Count Giordano Alberto Serego Della Scala, as well as the headquarters of the foundation that bears his name.
The villa is characterized by a simple neoclassical line, clearly highlighted in the central facade. The interior features a central environment from which four side salons open, illuminated by large windows on both facades. There are ceiling frescoes from various eras. What distinguishes the villa as a place of pleasure is that it is without a kitchen and attached spaces. Such functions were assumed by the adjacent building, now the headquarters of a cooperative.
The building is set in a small park, with centuries-old plants of various species, shrubs, and flowers.
