Pizzeria Al Torrente

Al Torrente is a small artisan pizzeria in the square of the ancient Cimbrian village of Giazza, a fraction of the Municipality of Selva di Progno, literally "overlooking" the stream that flows lushly from the Val Fraselle, touching the slopes of the Carega Group, in the Lessinia Regional Natural Park. A magical place, rich in charm, legends, and history, where you can enjoy snow in winter and a mild, cool climate in summer.

In a family-friendly environment furnished in wood with rustic mountain interiors, with 3 internal rooms and a summer veranda, you can savor long-fermented pizzas made with typical artisanal products from the extraordinary Lessinia, such as cheeses like Monte Veronese DOP, smoked ricotta, sweet provola, or aged pancetta with local herbs, all the way to smoked trout fillets from the Alta Valle del Chiampo. Accompany everything with artisanal craft beers or local wines and, to finish, enjoy a delicious dessert made strictly in-house.

The pizzaiolo and owner Lucchi Sandro, in addition to holding the title of Gran Maestro Pizzaiolo, has received various awards and recognition for participating in National, European, and World pizza championships throughout the 2000s.
