Ristorante Enoteca Bacco D'Oro

The wine restaurant Bacco d’Oro opens its doors on Easter in 1974.

Elios and Tecla Zara leave the Bue d’Oro of Valeggio sul Mincio to share the tradition of homemade pasta and their passion for quality wines in the territory of Eastern Verona.

Today, Mario Zara together with his wife Martina Elponti, both professional sommeliers, continues the family business in the splendid 18th-century villa, completely renovated in 2019.

Their cuisine is authentic, consisting of typical dishes from the Veronese tradition, meanwhile reinterpreted in a light and refined manner.

Their wine cellar, on the other hand, is a kind of museum of excellent Veronese wine.

Currently, events for private individuals and companies are also organized.
