Tra ville e campi a Colognola

The route starts at the Church of Saints Fermo and Rustico, located at the top of the “Monte,” a promontory that overlooks the territory of Colognola a Colli, where important Venetian villas stand.

The path winds both on stretches of paved road within the village streets and on the slopes of the hills that open up to the hiker's view, as well as, for the remaining distance, among dirt roads of olive groves.

A highlight of the itinerary is the panorama offered along the descent from Via Spiadi, which allows for glimpses in the distance of the splendid Castle of Soave and leads into the countryside dotted with vineyards.

Best to be traveled in the pleasant season, preferably in the month of May coinciding with the Sagra dei Bisi, which has received the “Quality Fair” certification from the National Union of Pro Loco of Italy.
