The hiking trail explores the natural beauty of the Val d'Illasi, winding along paths and small roads, fields, villages, and rural houses. The landscape constantly offers new perspectives, making it an ever-changing experience.
The itinerary passes through Cogollo, a hamlet of the Municipality of Tregnago, an ancient village that arose at the foot of a hill where a castle once stood, of which only a few ruins and a visible wrought iron crucifix remain.
Cogollo is indeed known for the 'Museo del Ferro Battuto', where one can admire an overview of the wrought iron works known thanks to the activity started by Roberto Da Ronco, recognized in Italy and around the world as Berto da Cogòlo.
The route also partially crosses sections of the famous “Tre Valli” Bike Tour, the most participated granfondo in Italy.
