Set in a green oasis of silence, in a garden of century-old trees in the beautiful Illasi Valley, between Valpolicella and Lessinia, Villa De Winckels is a testament to a history that spans nearly a millennium and to the dedication of the Merzari family, who still preserve its value today.
Built between 1100 and 1300, Villa De Winckels is the wise result of numerous expansion and renovation projects, with complete attention to safeguarding its historicity. Villa De Winckels has been included in the list of Venetian Villas by the Regional Institute responsible for their protection, and has received the Silver Crown from the Certification Commission for Historical Residences, after passing 25 annual Quality Controls that ensure its maximum historical, artistic, and cultural relevance.

The restaurant, consisting of rooms of varying sizes, is able to meet all your needs: a secluded environment for an intimate dinner, larger rooms for convivial evenings or to celebrate your occasions, or the wonderful Venice room, featuring a captivating fresco from the early 1900s, for an evening with refined atmospheres.
The expert hands of chef Roberto will create for you revisited dishes inspired by traditional Venetian cuisine, paired with typical products from Lessinia, while Massimo and Ottavio, experienced sommeliers, will be at your disposal to assist and advise you in choosing the wines for a complete culinary experience.
