The current structure of the building is from the 18th century, with some internal modifications made in 1913 when it was designated as the municipal seat. In the central part, it is possible to glimpse the remains of an older pigeon tower that suggest, along with other details, a construction date prior to the 18th century with subsequent modifications and additions.
Inside Villa Pellegrini, the paintings in the main hall, currently used as a council chamber, created by Andrea Porta in 1760, are interesting and of considerable value.
