I'm Letizia, the vice supervisor of the Tourist Office of Verona. Let yourself be carried away by emotions and curiosity, stop to observe and taste the artistic, cultural, gastronomic and natural beauties that Verona and the surroundings areas offer us. Often the precious things are in front of our eyes, but we miss them.
What is your special place of Verona in your heart?
My place of the heart is the area of Ponte Pietra and St. Peter's Hill. It represents one of the most suggestive points of the city, a fascinating, romantic and rich in history place. I love walking on the Roman bridge, admiring the surrounding landscape and enjoying the atmosphere that the river Adige offers.
What is a treasure of the Veronese territory?
It is very difficult to choose a single place...From Lessinia to the Pianura Veronese, from Lake Garda to Valpolicella, to East Veronese, each place has its own unique identity and invites the visitor to enjoy a rich offer of tourist experiences.
Why visit Verona?
Verona is a town on a human scale and an excellent example of a stratified city. Explore the old town on foot and visit it with eyes full of wonder; don't miss any detail, which shows how the city is the result of a thousand-year-old historical stratification.
