The Nicolis Museum in Villafranca di Verona will take part, for the first time, in the prestigious “Museums in Music” series, the chamber music concert cycle promoted by the Fondazione Arena di Verona.
The third edition of the series will run from January to November 2026 and will feature ten Sunday concerts hosted in seven prestigious venues across the area. The event at the Nicolis Museum, the only venue located outside Verona’s historic city centre, is scheduled for Sunday, 8 November.
The concert, included in the admission ticket together with a visit to the museum, will take place within the spaces that house one of the world’s most important private collections dedicated to the automobile, technology and 20th-century design. The musical programme includes the performance of two string quartets, masterpieces of 19th-century chamber music: a quartet by Ludwig van Beethoven and Franz Schubert’s quartet “Death and the Maiden”, performed by musicians of the Fondazione Arena di Verona Orchestra.
A special opportunity to enjoy an evocative experience in which music intertwines with the museum’s timeless beauty, creating unique emotions and atmospheres.
