The Ecomuseum Aquae Planae aims to enhance the Veronese Plain, characterized by the flow of important waterways and the evolution of various landscapes: one of these is the agro-industrial landscape. Through this tourist itinerary, you will be able to get to know this reality more closely, visiting a former sugar factory and traveling along a stretch of the bike paths that run alongside the Adige River and the Bussè River.
Cycling excursion with an itinerary between the Adige and Bussè rivers on a journey through time that, venturing into the floodplain area between Legnago and Villa Bartolomea, will reveal the mysteries of the river, the ancient crafts that animated it, and the crops that benefited from it. Along the way, you will also discover buildings and old services functional to the city and the surrounding villages, to understand the evolution of the agro-industrial landscape, with a particularly significant stop at Building 13 - Former Sugar Factory of Legnago.
