The church of St. Nicholas of Bari was built before the 14th century and restored between 1891 and 1892.
It is a modest-sized oratory with a single rectangular nave plan, a presbytery that has a quadrangular layout, slightly smaller than the hall, and finished with a choir with a flat backdrop.
The building features a simple gabled facade, at the center of which is the rectangular entrance portal. Above the portal, an inscription recalls the damages suffered by the church due to an earthquake that occurred in 1891, and the restoration carried out the following year. At the summit and lateral peaks, three pinnacles are prominently displayed.
The small and modest interior space of the church, with its sober and balanced lines, has walls that are simply plastered and painted; on the southern wall of the hall, there is a preserved fresco depicting the “Madonna with Child,” a popular work from the second half of the 14th century; the altar made of polychrome marbles is topped by a painting of the “Virgin and Child in Glory among Saints.”
The external facades, simply plastered, are characterized by a linear and essential development, crowned by a brick cornice with a sawtooth pattern; a narrow trilobate ogival window opens on the southern wall of the presbytery.
The bell tower is attached to the southern side of the church and is partially incorporated into it. It features a shaft made of squared stone blocks with plaster coating and a bell cell in aedicule built from exposed brick.
