The first news regarding the building comes from the pastoral visit of Bishop Barbaro in 1456. At that time, the church of St. Zeno was a chapel subject to the Parish of St. Mary in Colognola. The original church was demolished in 1765 and rebuilt in its current form in 1770. The establishment of the parish dates back to April 12, 1920.
The neoclassical gable facade is divided into three parts by four Ionic pilasters, supporting a triangular pediment topped with three small pinnacles, and features in the center, raised by a few steps, the entrance portal surmounted by a square window.
The floor plan is a single rectangular hall with four semi-chapels on the sides, a quadrangular presbytery raised by two steps, concluded with a semicircular apse.
The interior of the building consists of a single nave with a rectangular plan, from which open the four lateral chapels, with the minor altars of Saint Anthony of Padua, of the Madonna Help, of the Sacred Heart, and of Saint Joseph, and whose walls are framed by Ionic order pilasters supporting the molded cornice above which the vault is set, adorned with a painting depicting the Assumption of the Madonna, executed by painters Miolato and Rigodanzo between 1915 and 1916; at the end of the hall develops the presbytery, vaulted in a cross and closed by the apse.
Adjacent to the parish church is the square-based bell tower, whose cell features a single opening on each side and is crowned by a spire resting on the octagonal drum.
