Of the nineteenth-century churches, the oldest is that of Terrossa, dedicated to Saint Mary Magdalene and dating back to the XIX century.
The church was in fact inaugurated in 1869 in the presence of Blessed Zeffirino Agostini. The neo-Renaissance church of Roncà, consecrated in 1892, was designed by architect Don Angelo Gottardi.
The façade, preceded by two rows of trees and a staircase built in 1925, features a rectangular portal, accessed by climbing several steps, topped by a triangular pediment. On either side rise two pairs of semi-columns that support the triangular pediment, which holds a circle containing a cross in bas-relief. Above the pediment are three statues: at the top, the Redeemer, and on either side, Saints Peter and Paul. At the center of the façade is a crescent moon depicting The sinner (or Mary of Bethany) anointing the feet of Jesus (for centuries identified with Magdalene), sculpted in bas-relief.
The interior of the church features a single nave, with vestibules, plasterwork, ceilings, and floors completed between 1902 and 1905, and two side altars on each side. Near the presbytery, on the left side, stands the statue of the patron saint, Saint Mary Magdalene, also by Mussner. On the ceiling of the nave is painted The Crucifixion, a work from 1902 by painter Giovanni Bevilacqua. Some lunette and thermal windows introduce sunlight into the building, screened by the stained glass from Poli Arte of Verona, installed in 1969 for the centenary of the church.
