The Parish Church of Badia Calavena was built between 1824 and 1828, thanks to donations of money, wood, and services from the faithful, under the guidance of Parish Priest Don Bellorio Paolo, Curate Don Giovanni Cieno, and Chaplain Don Panato Giovanni.
It features a gabled façade with four pilasters supporting the tympanum, adorned with two statues depicting the Annunciation, which come from the suppressed Church of the Discipline in Verona. The interior has a single nave with the main altar, in Baroque style, finely made of marble of various colors with magnificent side doors topped by some statues. Near the southwest side of the Church stands the bell tower, built between 1857 and 1866.
In front of the church lies the long and wide Piazza Mercato, at the end of which rises an artistic marble cross.
