In the center of Cazzano di Tramigna, in the only square present in the village, there is a spring popularly called Fontana, renamed Lago della Mora (as the cherry that is produced in the area). The waters that feed the spring are thought to come from Monte Bastia to the east, from the Carega mountain group to the north, but also from the nearby Val d'Illasi to the west since the latter is about thirty meters higher than Val Tramigna and is subject to karst phenomena.
The spring is approximately 120 m in length (from the Contri mill to via Fienil fontana) and has an average width of 20 m; the water flows at a stable temperature, both in summer and winter, of 10°- 12° C. The watercourse that originates there, the Tramigna, is never dry with a flow rate of about 5 cubic meters per second, which is why at the beginning of the 1900s, there were as many as 9 businesses along its course including mills and oil presses.
In 2008, a statue depicting Saint John of Nepomuk was placed in the water mirror, a Bohemian saint who drowned in Prague for refusing to violate the secret of confession.
During the works for the recovery and redevelopment of the park adjacent to the fountain, openings were also made in the old retaining wall, and a steel walkway was built at the water's edge, thus creating a very picturesque walk along the pond.
