One will cycle through the Veronese hills of Val di Mezzane, Val d’Illasi, and Val Tramigna, discovering traces left by history.
Starting from San Martino Buon Albergo, the route heads towards the hamlet of Marcellise, immersed in green hills dotted with cypress trees, among vineyards and historic villas.
The ride flows towards Val d’Illasi, where the town of the same name rises, dominated by the Scaliger Castle built in the 13th century. Along the way, one can admire a landscape characterized by courtyards, districts, dry stone walls, and terraces used for the cultivation of olive trees, vines, and cherry trees.
One then descends towards the village of Soave, one of the most beautiful in Italy, where a medieval atmosphere can be felt, with typical fortified walls. Here, the famous Soave Classico wine is produced, renowned worldwide.
The route continues towards Colognola ai Colli among vineyards, olive plantations, and important Venetian villas.
