The thematic itinerary evokes the agricultural traditions of the area, accessible both on foot and by bike, and winds through rarely trafficked country lanes.
During the route, it is possible to admire architectural complexes of high historical and cultural value such as the Corte Grande – Villa Serego at Cucca with the Barchesse built by Andrea Palladio and the “Tezon,” one of the last remaining “Tezoni” from the 16th century in Veneto, where sheep were sheltered.
An itinerary where you can discover historic courtyards and ancient granaries, and the protagonist of this route: the “Verza Moretta,” a horticultural product characterized by an intense purple color on the outside and a white-yellow interior. Cultivated in Veronella area since the 19th century, it is generally planted in August and harvested in November.
