Tenuta Le Cave represents a wonderful and virtuous example of the recovery of an industrial area: until the 1930s, it was a marl quarry owned by the Italcementi company.

The recovery has been done with great attention to detail and in complete integration with the landscape, an extraordinary terrace overlooking the val d'Illasi. In the renovation of the interiors, absolutely original reclaimed materials from local architecture (stones, woods, beams, etc.) have been used alongside a refined collection of contemporary art. Additionally, typical elements of local craftsmanship have been enhanced, such as the iron from the nearby municipality of Cogollo. Today, Le Cave appears to visitors as a concentration of local culture united with contemporary genius, together providing a backdrop for high-level food and wine experiences.
