Società Agricola Anselmi

The Anselmi winery is located in Monteforte d'Alpone, in the province of Verona, a small town at the foot of the hills.

A modern, technologically advanced winery that is continuously evolving, with over 500 barriques and 8000 hectoliters of capacity for aging wines sur lie with batonnage, in an inert atmosphere and at controlled temperature.

A dense fabric of hills surrounds the inhabitants of Soave and Monteforte d'Alpone: it is here, on the high Foscarino and Zoppega hills, that the owned vineyards are located.

The soil is volcanic tuff, covered by clays resulting from the superficial alteration of volcanics, and the roots of the vines are in contact with basalt. The resulting grapes are characterized by remarkable juiciness and fruit richness, but also by a lot of minerality and an acidic vein that is not afraid to express itself.

600,000 bottles, for a production that has always developed on just 5 labels. Some of their wines bear the names of the Capitelli found in the vineyards themselves, such as Capitel Foscarino, Capitel Croce, and I Capitelli; one is named after a saint, Capitel San Vincenzo; and finally, one pays homage to the locality of Realda.
