Tenuta Solar

A courtyard in the heart of Monteforte d'Alpone, a wine town surrounded by vineyards, a family closely tied to a handful of these vineyards carefully tended with love and passion.

This is the Tenuta Solar of Bolla Egidio. For winemaking, they only use grapes from their own vineyards located in the classic area known as "Val de l'acqua." Only in this way can they certify the origin of 100% Garganega grapes, from indigenous and cru vineyards, ensuring the quality of the product, a fundamental factor that guides every process.

The courtyard, or rather, the family farmhouse, is the place where the wines are crafted, but the jewel of the house is the drying room, where the bunches of Garganega for the production of Recioto are not laid out, as tradition dictates, but hung on a net. This system provides better aeration and drying for the grapes and demonstrates how their work is focused, above all, on the quality of the product.
