It is from the 18th century. The property of the Maffei family predates the current construction. The current villa was built in 1776 by Carlo Maffei and the architect Pellesina. The building is described as elegant and was completed in the early 1800s. It has frescoes by Andrea Porta from 1786 that depict landscapes of the area. In front, there is a garden with a centuries-old magnolia, and a small park is on the north side of the villa.
