Villa Zannini is an 18th-century noble residence in the countryside.
It presents a harmonious appearance with a long horizontal body in the central part. The architecture is elegant, especially in the lower part, with a framed main door. Notable are the balustrades of the windows, the French door of the noble floor, the frames, and the finishing of the tympanum. In the center of the pediment, there is the heraldic coat of arms of the Da Porto family, later succeeded in the ownership of the villa by the Alberti, the Rossi, and finally the Zannini.
The splendid park surrounding it retains the 18th-century layout of the trees, numerous flower beds, hedges, and lawns, as well as an ancient ice house and a pond (now dry).
This villa is noted in historical literature for the arrest of the patriot and poet Carlo Montanari on the evening of July 8, 1852.
